I never know how to explain myself except for in list format, so here we go!
I'm 21 years old.
Born & raised in San Francisco.
Currently attending City College of San Francisco as a Library Information Tech major.
My ultimate goal is to be a librarian.

I'm pretty gosh darn awkward in most situations.
I'm pretty good at walking and reading at the same time (important life skill right there!)

If all goes well, sometime next month I'm going to be receiving a bit of money from my college scholarship & Pell Grant (financial aid) and I'm planning on setting some aside to buy some new lenses for my camera. Now, before anyone goes all "OHMAGAWD! That money is for school!" let me just explain that my tuition and classes are already covered by the BOGW and that I only need to buy two books for the semester which leaves me with some change to spend as I please.
SO!
I love nature photography, especially taking photos of plants (as one could probably tell from my username & gallery) and I need a lens that can provide rather good macro shot

I can't seem to stop adding a blueish hued background to my flower photos!
I do like the results but at the same time I feel like I'm cheating, like I'm not taking legit flower photos anymore. Argh, emotions.

So, "Rachel-Loves-Plants" was a bit a mouthful and didn't flow in my mind the way I wanted it to so I paid the $4.95 for the one month premium membership in order to change the name to "Botanical-Rae". :D
In other news, I went to the Botanical Garden (also where I thought of the name) today and took some photos. :camera:
So I shall be editing and uploading a lot today!
